Zoom Mtg & Website Enhancements

Updated: Sep 26, 2020

Greetings Apple Club Members

Please see the notes below on some innovative use of Website Enhancements and the Invitation to join an exciting Zoom Meeting on October 12 on free electronic databases and Online Learning Courses.

Website Enhancements

Over the past week or so we have made a couple of changes to our club’s website We have done this with the recognition that we are unlikely to be able to hold classes or meetings for the balance of this year and most likely all of next year.

We will use the website to offer our members classes or tutorials that may be of interest to them that they can “tune in to” at their pleasure. To that end, please see what has been done in the “Upcoming Events” section of the website. Specifically the Event titled “Check out our list of instructional videos- etc “ . It displays a number of topics that we believe may be of interest. Be sure to click on the “Read More” prompt shown after the first four video topics. No need to “Register" for any of these.

Additional topics will be added from time to time as we learn more of what best helps our members. Keep an eye on the website for more.

Zoom Meeting - Tues. Oct.13,

2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Join us for a Zoom Meeting telling us about the many free electronic services offered by the Maricopa County Library District to its customers. Robson Library Professional Alyssa Carter will give a presentation on a variety of electronic databases available through the library. These publication are free for anyone with a library card.

Included will be a discussion of Online learning courses offered by three different providers on a large variety of business, personal development, languages, and others.

Register for the event in the “Upcoming Events” section of the website and we will email you instructions on how to join the meeting.

Thank you and any questions or comments to Gary B 480 895 2141
