The Sun Lakes Apple Club Thanks the Greater Sun Lakes Community Foundation.


   Pictured are Frank Gould, Gary Bross, and Richard Hawkes with a check for $745 to the Sun Lakes Apple Users Group ( aka Sun Lakes Apple Club ) from the Greater Sun Lakes Community Foundation ( formally know as the Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation. Frank is Vice President and Richard is President of the Foundation. Gary is administrator of the Apple Club.


   Donations to the charitable Foundation are welcome and are tax deductible. The Foundation is anxious to help other organizations that support their mission. For more information, visit the Foundation’s website at  cottonwoodpaloverdefoundation.org

   The Apple Club will use the funds to purchase audio equipment and to obtain internet services that will allow the club to broaden its outreach to the community. The club continues to be a “ NO FEE “ club whose mission is to provide a forum that is educational, supportive, and fun - where we can all learn to get the most from our Apple devices regardless of our knowledge level.


   The Apple Club’s mission closely supports the Foundation’s mission which is to enhance the quality of life in the areas of health, education, and culture of the older population of the East Valley including the entire Sun Lakes Community.


   The Apple Club conducts monthly classes from September through May on the second Monday of each month at 1:30 PM in Cottonwood’s Phoenix Room. Workshops are scheduled the following Monday on an “as required” basis. Supplementary classes are also occasionally held at the Apple Store at the Chandler Fashion Center. In addition, One on One Q & A Sessions are held every Friday from 10:00 AM until noon in Cottonwood’s Mens Card Room. Sign up for the classes and the One on One sessions are via the Upcoming Events section on the club’s website  sunlakesappleclub.com   Visit us there to learn more about the club. You need not be a “ member “ of the club to enjoy these opportunities.
